With an engraving machine to green products
The company has been striving for “Net-Zero” or even “Net-Positive” carbon prints for some time now using some simple yet effective methods. For more than a decade, we have been offering paper catalogs only to customers who explicitly want them. We offer an online version to others. It is best for the customer to visit our online store, where they can see prices, additional images, dimensions, materials, printing options and similar information. Electronic invoices have also been a fixture in Slovenia for many years. We mostly manage accounting matters electronically, only legally determined things can be found on paper. Since the products we sell are often individually packaged, we check this with the customer beforehand. Some just don’t need or even don’t want the bags, as the bags land in the trash anyway.

In light of all the above, we also decided on a new line of "green" products made of wood. Some new products are in direct competition with manufacturers of large quantities of plastic - this is a wooden candle with an engraved dedication or other text. We have prepared ten versions that should satisfy most customers. We also added greeting cards to the candles, from which we obtain a small spruce tree to spice up the office table, a pendant for the Christmas tree and a classic greeting card on a wooden base. We have also made many different shapes of pendants, and the shape of the pendant can also be made according to the client's wishes. Some interesting products are also: a key hanger, coasters, a coffee capsule holder, a mobile phone stand and a bookmark. However, if you have an interesting idea for making a new green product, you can contact us with a drawing. The products can be made of ordinary wood or wooden plywood according to the customer's wishes. Of course, all products can also be engraved with your company logo, brand or slogan.HOW THE ENGRAVING MACHINE WORKS
Engraving machines come in a variety of sizes and strengths. The main component in the machine is a laser tube and a collection of mirrors that can send a laser beam to all locations inside the device. Depending on the strength of the device, we can engrave different materials. Paper, wood, leather and plastic can be engraved even at very low laser strengths. Metals and other similar materials need higher stress. A big problem with engraving is the smoke that is created during engraving. It depends on the material, but practically all the vapors produced by the engraving machine are toxic. The engraving machine therefore needs a particularly strong suction of the generated vapors and a suitable way to drain the vapors through the filter system. An engraving machine shoots a beam into a mirror, which redirects the beam into a field where we can engrave. The beam encounters 2 additional mirrors along the way (all these elements of course need to be calibrated periodically) before it touches the finished material. The maximum engraving area in our machine is 300x400 millimeters, which is enough for most of the needs we have.
